When I was growing up, my family and I had a dog. He was a greyhound named Apollo and he was one handsome pup. My neighbors also had a dog, but he was anything but handsome. He was much smaller than Apollo and had a droopy sort of face. My neighbors, however, loved him all the same, and when I actually got to play with him, I realized just how cute he really was.
Cletus, the little dog, may have known exactly how my neighbor's dog must've felt. Cletus was found wandering the streets one cold afternoon. He was all alone and very sick, so sick, in fact, he could barely stay standing. The couple who found Cletus took him home immediately and began nursing him back to health.
Cleetus had a crooked nose and a substantial underbite. His new parents, however, did not seem to notice at all. In fact, they thought his little "deficiencies" made him that much cuter. Cletus still struggled with anxiety though, but his parents soon found a way to help him feel more relaxed.
