The highly anticipated royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is only days away and the world can hardly contain its excitement. With all of the last minute details finally coming together, the wedding of the century is coming together.

As the date grows closer, all of the last minute details are coming into place; the flowers are nearing harvest, the final dress fittings are well underway, and the seating chart for the massive guest list is quickly coming to completion as the RSVP’s roll in.

But after learning that one highly anticipated guest will not be in attendance at the royal ceremony, his absence is causing a major rewrite of the seating chart and the professional.

On April 28th, just three weeks before the wedding, it was announced the newest member of the Royal Family would not be attending Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding.

The newborn royal, Prince Louis of Cambridge, arrived into the world on April 23rd, 2018. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were thrilled to finally welcome their baby boy. His arrival into the world excited the all as the beloved family of four became a beautiful family of five. And while the family- and world- is completely overjoyed at the arrival of the little prince, it turns out that his age is the determining factor for his attendance at the royal wedding.

Originally, the wedding date was determined after the Duchess’ due date was discovered. Surely, Meghan and Kate had agreed upon the wedding date, and it’s likely that Kate was planning to leave the prince with the nanny, Maria, for the day regardless of the wedding date. However after the little prince’s exciting entry into the world, many had hoped that he’d be in attendance to watch his uncle marry.

According to The Mirror, a royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, has weighed in on the matter sharing that the “Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are unlikely to take him along to the nuptials at St George's Chapel in Windsor on May 19, so he doesn't steal the limelight… Absolutely nothing must detract from the focus on the happy couple and this would," he said.

Since sharing the news that the latest prince wouldn’t be attending, many have expressed their frustration. The royal wedding is to be the event of the century and to leave the little prince out simply because “he’ll steal attention” has created an uproar from the British people. Many believe that because he is family, he should be there without question.
