An Tso Sun was a foreign exchange student from Taiwan who came to Pennsylvania to attend Bonner Prendergast Catholic High School in Drexel Hill. According to Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood, Sun told a fellow student to skip school on May 1, because he “was going to shoot up the school”

When police went to the house of Sun’s host family, they found over 1600 rounds of ammunition as well as a gun that he put together himself. Sun ordered the gun parts online and put the gun together at the home, and police say that the weapon was definitely capable of firing. Before police could show up to make the arrest, gathered all of the ammunition and the gun and delivered them to a third person, not the police.

Police were able to recover the missing ammo and gun last Thursday, March 29, following a tip, but they will not reveal where the items were found. Currently, the host mother has not yet been charged with any crimes, but the investigation is continuing.

This is a horrible story, and we know that sometimes we need a reminder of the good in the world at a time like this, so be sure to check out the video below!
