For children, their list of “no-nos” when it comes to toys is pretty basic. Parents set strict guidelines with what is permissible or not for their children, and that varies from household to household.
Though Prince George and Princess Charlotte live a life in which some children could only dream, they aren’t immune to strict rules. In fact, William and Kate are very adamant about being very hands-on parents, and they don’t have a problem with setting boundaries for their little ones.
While there are many perks to being part of the family, there are a few things that are strictly off-limits to the littlest residents. Prince William and Kate heavily monitor the items allowed to their precious children, as any good parents would.
A royal insider divulged a bit of information on the matter. When it comes to technology, there are strict rules in which they must follow. “They’re very much seen as Mummy and Daddy’s toys, not for children.”
The source continued: “As two people who grew up without gadgets for entertainment themselves, William and Kate are firm believers in toys, outdoor play, and encouraging an active imagination. They’re very much a normal family.”
Prince William and Kate want their children to grow up without the overbearing desire for electronics. While some might scoff at the idea, other parents admire their stance on this item.
What do you think of this? Do you think that it’s a good idea to ban electronic devices for the little ones?
