When exciting rumors start to swirl about our favorite little royals, we can’t help but get antsy as we wait to see if it all pans out.
Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, are some of the most talked about tykes on the internet. It’s certainly easy to see why! Not only are these little ones insanely adorable, but they belong to one of the most prominent and famous families in the world.
The family is very much aware of the fame their name brings, so they’re very strategic as to how much the media is around their offspring. Per royal standards, when the children are quite young, seeing any imagery or appearance of them is a serious rarity.
They keep them out of the public as often as they can but know that it can only last for so long. In order to please the public, they save the grand appearances of the children for the grandest occasions, be it events at the palace, a wedding, etc.
Recently, we caught wind that we might be seeing more of George and Charlotte very soon! Trooping the Colour is lavish parade and event held in honor of Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. Traditionally we see the entire royal family make a joint appearance on the balcony, all dressed in their best.
The little ones are kept inside just until time to take the balcony and that is pretty much all we ever see of them. This year just might be a little bit different. From what we’ve heard, it’s very likely that Prince George (6) and Princess Charlotte (4) just might be getting the privilege to join their mother in a carriage ride in the day’s fantastic procession.
Here’s where sources pull their theories: “William was four years old, just days shy of celebrating his fifth birthday, when he took part in his first carriage procession in 1987. The little boy, who looked adorable in a pale blue coat, rode with his mum Princess Diana and the Queen Mother. Prince Harry was also four when he made his carriage debut, joining his brother William, Princess Diana, and the Queen Mother.”
As of now, nothing has been confirmed as it is all hear-say. We can only hope that these two get to follow in William and Harry’s footsteps and have their first official Trooping The Colour carriage ride in 2019!
