The summer months have quickly drawn to a close. While we enjoyed the long days full of sunshine and outdoor fun, we welcome all the joys that the new season brings forth. In virtually no time at all, the Christmas season will be upon us.
We are prematurely getting pressured into “the most wonderful time of the year” even in the early days of September, causing us to mildly panic at our unpreparedness (don’t worry - we still have plenty of time).
While you enjoy sipping your pumpkin spice lattes and wearing your coziest flannels for the next couple of months, it won’t hurt to go ahead and start to slowly plan for Christmas. After all, the earlier you start, the less hectic it will be - at least that’s what I try to tell myself each year.
One thing I plan on doing more of this year is going “all out”, so to speak, when it comes to decorating. No more keeping it plain and simple this year. I want to add some pizazz to my decorations, especially when it comes to the outside of my home.
One blogger named Kelly Dixon from smartschoolhouse.com crafted a brilliantly simple but oh-so-adorable decoration that would make any house instantly more jolly. She found a way to affordably make gigantic Christmas ornaments to hang from her home and, let me tell you, they are SO CUTE.
Check out the video, below, to see just how to make these fun and easy ornaments. You’ll want to pull these out each and every season!
