When I was growing up, my favorite thing to do was to go swimming. It didn't matter what season it was, I was going to find a pool and swim my heart out. I loved swimming laps, diving for rings, but my very favorite thing at the pool was the diving boards. Even when I would belly flop, I loved jumping off the high dive. I have a feeling that this brown bear and I would have gotten along great.

Bruiser, the bear, was rescued and taken to the Single Vision Wildlife Sanctuary in Florida. Bruiser was a Syrian Brown Bear and was brought to the Sanctuary as an educational animal because there were very few of his kind left in the wild. When workers at the sanctuary introduced Bruiser to his new home, the first thing the bear noticed was his swimming pool.

People quickly realized that Bruiser was a natural swimmer and he wanted to be in the water more often than not. Bruiser spent hours playing in the water and even found a playmate named Honey Bear, a black bear. Although Bruiser loved everything about the water, he seemed to love jumping into his pool more than anything else. CLICK "NEXT PAGE" TO READ THE REST OF THE STORY... [VIDEO]
