A doctor from Utah claims that the beloved actress slammed into him while they were skiing. Her close sources argue otherwise.
PEOPLE reports: “Terry Sanderson, the man suing the Oscar-winning actress, Paltrow, 46, ‘was skiing out of control’ at the Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah.”
The doctor is now suing her for over $3 million in damages. He is said to have officially described the accident:
“‘A hit-and-run ski crash at Deer Valley, Utah’ where Paltrow allegedly ‘skied out of control and hit’ him in the back, adding she ‘got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, and seriously injured.’”
Three of the employees working at Deer Valley Resort have also been sued in this lawsuit. The accuser goes on further to claim: “He suffered injuries including a ‘permanent traumatic brain injury,’ four broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, emotional distress, and disfigurement.”
When asked about what he recalled from the incident, Sanderson stated, “Reliving this is hard. Skiing with five other friends, it was a beautiful day. We passed two signs slow down. I heard this hysterical scream - instantaneous I got hit in the back - remember going down. That’s all I remember.”
The actress has, undoubtedly, chosen to lay low during this bashing of her reputation while the media and the doctor parade around with their accusations. She has only once come forward to E! News to give a very brief statement: “This lawsuit is completely without merit and we expect to be vindicated.”
Only time will tell just what will come of this lawsuit. Either way, we hope the truth finally emerges and justice is served rightfully.
