May 19th, 2018 was one of the happiest days in history as the world celebrated Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle. While the lovely couple shared their vows, billions watched in utter adoration. Although, in the midst of the joyful celebration, there were some key individuals were missing from the momentous celebration.

Meghan’s father, Thomas, and her step-siblings, Samantha and Thomas Jr, were not present at the nuptials. While Thomas was believed to be recovering from a last-minute open-heart surgery just four days before the wedding, Samantha and Thomas were left without an invitation entirely.

The family crisis elevated to a whole new level when Thomas Markle got involved in a photo scandal days before the wedding, which caused great embarrassment for Prince Harry’s bride.

In the midst of the drama, Prince Harry couldn’t help but blame himself for all the public drama.

A source close to Harry shared that the prince has been “devastated” over the recent spike in publicity for Meghan’s family. He knows that every family has issues, but he feels responsible for the way that it’s being handled.

The source shared, “He feels like this is another thing in the wake of him...the problems he causes. He feels that anyone who gets associated with his life – this is the price they have to pay.”

Tragically, Meghan’s family drama swirled media outlets around the world just days before what suppose to be the happiest day of her life.

The source continued to share that Harry wanted the best for his bride and all that’s been going on has been “really difficult for him to swallow since he just wants to protect her.”

While it’s understandable that Harry would blame himself, surely Meghan doesn’t agree with him. Both Harry and Meghan have made sure to put their best face forward in the midst of the drama. What do you think about all of the drama that’s been swirling around?
