Queen Elizabeth may be the ruling monarch of England and all, but I am seriously confused about this request of hers. I can’t be the only one!
On the last Saturday of February, February 23rd, 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be traveling to North Africa at their grandmother’s request. And just so you know you’re not crazy - yes, Meghan will be entering into the eighth month of her pregnancy by that time!
But regardless of the mom-to-be nearing her due date, Queen Elizabeth is hoping that their appearance in Morocco will help the British government. According to a Kensington Palace, the couple has been asked to go because the government believes that “it will build on the close relationship between the U.K. and Morocco.
While several people believe that the traveling so close to her due date isn't the best idea, Kensington Palace has confirmed that “the Duke and Duchess are looking forward to the visit which will highlight the vital roles that girls’ education and youth empowerment are playing in, and shaping, modern Morocco.”
While in Morocco, the Duke and Duchess will be working to help two causes: girls’ education and young peoples’ empowerment. They will be gone for three days.
While Harry and Meghan have proven that they are dedicated to their roles, we really hope that Meghan is not overwhelmed with travel so late in her pregnancy. It’s thought that Meghan, 37, who recently said she is due in late April, will be moving into her eighth month of pregnancy at the time of the visit.
Regardless of whether they feel like going, Harry and Meghan will likely go and have a wonderful time! We’re praying for their travels!
