There is nothing more magical than the moment a little one comes into this world. Though she is utterly exhausted, the brand new mama can't help but beam with pride when she sees her little babe for the very first time.

She can't seem to take her eyes off of the long-awaited life that had been growing inside of her.

A gorgeous Palomino mare named Daisy has a birth story that will truly bring a tear to your eye and joy to your heart. Her owners, Jenni and Guy, had been anxiously waiting for months to see the newest little addition to their farm.

Would it be a boy or a girl? Would it have the coloring of its mother or father? Would the foal have any facial markings? These were all questions that were running through their minds.

It seemed like an eternity for the moment of birth to arrive. It had been seven days past her due date when Daisy finally started to show signs of birthing. The time was finally here! Excited beyond belief, Jenni and Guy rushed to her side, ready to assist her at a moment's notice.

Within a few hours, she had given birth to an absolutely stunning foal. The little one was pretty small in comparison to her mother's size. Daisy was a very large horse, standing 18 hands high, so it was natural to assume that she would have a larger foal. Nevertheless, Jenni and Guy were just happy that the foal was in great health.

Daisy began to deliver the afterbirth. Suddenly, Jenni and Guy stared in amazement. They couldn't believe what they were witnessing! Daisy wasn't done giving birth!!

Guy quickly rushed over to her side and began to assist her with baby number two. Because twins are extremely rare for horses, they held their breath as they waited to see if the second little one would survive. Moments later, the little guy was breathing and standing on his own.

Birth stories like Daisy's are quite rare, so we are incredibly thrilled that this one ended happily. The twins are growing stronger and healthier with each passing day. Mama Daisy is also doing well. Don't you just love a good happy ending?
