Increasingly Hostile Interviews Leave Meghan Blindsided, Forcing Palace To Step Up Efforts To Deal With ‘Major Problem'

July 17, 2018

Whether it stems from the hurt he feels over his daughter’s ‘disappearance’ into the Royal Family ever since her May 19th marriage to Prince Harry of Wales, or that he has a legitimate beef, but Meghan Markle’s dad is stepping up his game in trying to get his daughter’s attention.

In so doing, though, he has also caught the ire of the Royal Family, and now the Palace seems to be looking for a permanent solution to the ‘major problem’ of Duchess Meghan’s dad. You see, he doesn’t seem to be able to keep his mouth shut and is reaching out to the media to get his message across.

We've been following the recent interviews that Thomas Markle, Sr. has given in which he has expressed his frustration over his inability to reach his daughter by phone, claiming all of his attempts have been ignored. Then he hinted that he might just hop on a plane and go there to see her for himself.

His actions, he says, are out of pure concern for his little girl’s well-being and says he is not going to stop until he has answers. And if he can’t tell her directly, he'll do it in the only way he knows how - through the media. But his actions are having a huge impact on the workings of the Royal Family and things are rapidly coming to a head.

The Royals, who despise their private business being aired in public, have apparently had enough of the American dad's rather open attitude toward his impressions of the Royal goings-on, and many are expecting a major move on the part of Buckingham Palace to alleviate the embarrassing and awkward situation.

For Thomas Markle's part, all he really wants is to hear from his daughter and to find out for himself how she is doing. If and when that meeting happens - whether over the phone or in person - his message to her is quite simple:

"My message [to her] would be, 'I love you, I miss you, I'm sorry for anything that went wrong,'" he said. "And I want to be her [future] child's grandfather and I want to be near them. I want to be a part of their life. I'd like to put our differences behind us and get together." Let's hope the father and daughter find a way to resolve their issues very soon.
