Hearts are breaking around America as millions have just learned the heartbreaking news that up-and-coming country music star, Justin Carter, has died.
Justin Carter was shooting his new music video when a gun went off on set. According to Justin’s mother, Cindy McClellan, the gun belonged to Justin and was placed his pocket before it accidentally went off and shot him in his face. More specifically, the gun “went off and caught him in the corner of his eye."
Tragically, this accident ended his life instantly. His mother shared her grief with Fox News, saying, "He was a wonderful artist. He was the voice, he was the total package and we're trying to keep his legend [alive]."
She added, "He was a wonderful person, very loving and he loved our God very much. He had a Bible in his room, in the den, he had one in his truck. He gave to charities." She added that her son was a devout Christian, saying “He just loved music, he was very gifted and by God, his voice was spectacular.”
The tragic news was shared on his Facebook page with the caption: "Please Keep Justin’s Family In Your Prayers & Give Them Privacy In This Hard Time. Justin Is No Longer With Us, He Has Passed Away.
