Just One Day After Historic Meeting, President Trump Makes Shocking Statement About Kim Jong Un, Leaving The World Nervous About What It Might Mean

June 12, 2018

When President Donald J. Trump announced that he would make an unprecedented move by meeting with the North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un, the whole world thought he had lost his mind. Now, one day after the historic meeting in Singapore, the President sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity and opened up about his true thoughts about the dictator.

What Trump had to say surprised many, especially since he had previously ridiculed Kim by calling him “ Little Rocket Man” after numerous failed missile tests last year.

In the interview held Tuesday night, the President “complimented North Korean leader Kim Jong Un after their Singapore summit as a ‘strong guy’ and a ‘great negotiator,’ and argued his once-fiery rhetoric directed toward Kim worked.

“He’s got a very good personality, he’s funny, and he’s very, very smart,” Trump said of Kim in the interview that aired Tuesday night. “He’s a great negotiator, and he’s a very strategic kind of a guy.”

The president went on to say that he and Kim “got along very well” from “the beginning” of the summit.

What an amazing turn-around after just one meeting. Who knows what will come out of the next rendezvous, which President Trump hinted at during the interview.

Without an actual date being named, the President appeared confident that it will consist of Kim paying a visit to Washington D.C. “I think at the right time, he’ll absolutely be coming to the White House, yes,” he said.
