Controversial Mom Of 8, Kate Gosselin, Finally Opens Up About The One Thing She’s Been Hesitant About For Years - And It Involves Her Kids

February 12, 2019

Kate Gosselin has certainly seen her fair share of the reality television world and, unfortunately, it hasn’t all been sunshine and roses.

The mother of eight gained her notoriety in 2007 when she and her now ex-husband, Jon, starred in the television series Jon & Kate Plus 8. In this show, the family instantly became known among households across the country because of the uniqueness of their situation.

Having a set of twins followed by a set of sextuplets is something you never hear about, so it’s quite understandable why the media was quick to follow their every move.

Sadly, in 2009 things took a rather nasty turn when floods of allegations began to pile up against the parents for various reasons. It was only a matter of time before they chose to part ways and create new, separate lives.

It has been ten years since the massively ugly “Gosselin split” and the family has seemed to do the best they could to navigate the difficult family circumstances. Now that the children are a bit older, Kate has finally addressed the one burning question all of her fans have asked for years - anything and everything about her love life.

Instead of just popping back with a question or an update concerning the situation, she’s taken the typical “Kate” route and will be having a television show solely based on finding her dream guy. Here’s the catch - she’s got her 18-year-old twin daughters, Cara and Mady, assisting her along the way.

Her new television show will be called Kate Plus Date. “Particularly, the dating show - [I chose] Mady and Cara because they’re 18 and I feel like it’s more comfortable at this time to have them weighing in and helping me out,” Kate told in an interview.

She then knew she had to add one last bit of information before accusations came hurling her way. “So, it’ll be Mady and Cara on Kate Plus Date, and yes, we are close with all of my kids and their brothers and sisters.”

The new series is set to premiere in June of 2019. Only time will tell if Kate will find her dream guy. What do you think of this?
