Congratulations are in order to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as the couple welcomed Baby #3 in the late morning on April 23rd, 2018! The royal prince was born at St. Mary’s Lindo Wing where his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were also born.
Kate reportedly went into labor in the early morning on the 23rd shortly before she and William made their way over to the Lindo Wing. After what has been reported as a smooth labor, Kate delivered her second son. The baby prince was born at 11:01 a.m. on April 23rd, 2018, just one day before his due date! His name has yet to be announced.
Crowds of media and fans alike were going crazy outside of the Lindo Wing hoping to catch the first glimpse of the newest prince. Fans were thrilled to see the Duke arrive at the hospital with their older children right before they walked into the hospital to meet their new sibling. Together, the new family of five enjoyed some time alone before Kate and William made their debut in front of the crowds.
Only 7 hours after Kate delivered, she and William made their ever-famous debut on the Lindo Wing steps! The crowds went wild as Kate and William walked down the steps of the Lindo Wing and towards the crowd.
While everyone was cheering for the debut of the baby, something shocking stole the attention of many…
Kate was wearing a red dress with a white collar. At first glance, one is immediately reminded of Princess Diana! The Duchess wore nearly the same exact ensemble as her late mother-in-law, Princess Di, after she gave birth to Prince Harry.
Kate has made several other similar outfit choices with her late mother-in-law. When Kate gave birth to her first son, Prince George, she choose an adorable and simple sky blue dress with white polka dots. Princess Diana had announced Prince William, Kate’s husband, in a teal dress with white polka dots.
It’s no surprise that Kate and William were aware of the dresses outfit choice. Surely, it was their way of honoring Princess Di during the debut of the new baby.
Did you think of Princess Di the moment you saw the red dress? I sure did! We are so beyond thrilled for the Duke and Duchess and their newest baby!
