Life as a royal certainly is no walk in the park. If you’re part of the British royal family, you’ve come to expect that any and everything you do is photographed, documented, and broadcast on news outlets across the globe. The mere thought of privacy is merely a dream that they long for from time to time.
When a person marries into the family, it takes no time at all to learn that life is vastly different as a royal and only certain people are able to withstand the constant pressure that accompanies the envied role. If a child is born into the family, it is ingrained in them from the very start.
Prince William has known nothing but the royal life and has proven that he’s a master at acting, working, and performing as a classy royal should. His wife, Kate Middleton, was not born into a royal family, but one that was very upper class and well known. She already had a solid handle on how to act but stepped her game up tremendously when she wed her Prince.
Now, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge share three beautiful little children together: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The three little royals have been taught from the very start on how to live life as royalty and how to act in front of the public. While the Duke and Duchess have seemingly done an excellent job in teaching their children the ways of their unique life, Kate has made sure to enforce other rules as well.
From the very start, Kate has done her very best to try and help her children live out as normal of a life as possible. This is a lofty task, considering their roles, but she’s managed to excel in this undertaking even though it takes some creativity from time to time.
Recently, she was spotted taking her two older children out on an adventure outdoors at the Houghton Horse Trials. The little ones seemed very content as they enjoyed some delicious ice cream cones. This is one of the many things the Duchess does to add in doses of normality.
At an event, Kate Middleton elaborated on this subject: “Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and, for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.”
She makes it a point to be very hands-on with her kids, giving them the best life they could possibly have. We already had an enormous amount of respect for the Duchess, but this gives us even more for her. We cannot wait to see how her little ones blossom and grow in the coming years!
