To say that the last six weeks have been busy for the British Royal Family is a vast understatement; from emergency surgeries to births, to weddings, the Royals have had one heck of a season. Their business has just racing just to “Keep Up With The Cambridges,” (Don’t get too excited- they’re busy but they’re definitely not getting reality show anytime soon).
As a new mum of three, Kate has found herself keeping up needing a much needed break as well. After her brother-in-laws royal wedding to Meghan Markle, Kate was spotted at the Houghton Horse Trials with her oldest enjoying a summertime ice cream.
As the busy season comes to an end, Kate’s decided that she’s ready for some quality time away from the busy city. And with Prince George and Princess Charlotte going into their summer break (or “Half-term” as it’s called in the UK), now seems like the perfect time to get away.
Elle reports that the Duchess is taking herself and her three littles on a trip to their country home in Norfolk. The country home that was gifted to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge after their wedding, Anmer Hall, is the perfect getaway for the Duchess and her kids.
Surprisingly enough, William will remain in Kensington for most of the family getaway, as his duties won’t let him take that much time off. Surely, he’ll visit though!
The lovely Anmer Hall is located on Queen's Sandringham Estate. Will and Kate lived their right before moving to Kensington Palace to be closer to the Royal Family.
The country home is by no means small; fully equipped for summer fun, it offers a pool, private tennis court, garden, and 10 bedrooms! Although, better than all of the amenities, it’s secluded from the ever-constant paparazzi.
While we’ll missing recent pictures of the Kate and her kids, we totally understand the need to get away and reset with your family. We’re sure that the family is more than ready to get away for a couple days! Where does your family like to vacation for some rest and relaxation?
