Katherine Helmond passed away at her Los Angeles home after battling Alzheimer’s disease. She was a beaming 89-years-old. Helmond made quite a name for herself in the acting department and was nominated seven times for an Emmy award.
She gained a great deal of fame from her iconic role in the hit television series Who’s the Boss? where she played Mona Robinson for eight seasons. She also was a total star in her role in the show, SOAP, where she played Jessica Tate.
Her close colleagues and friends took to social media to post their sincere condolences.
