‘Little House On The Prairie’ Star Dies, Leaving Fans Heartbroken

November 14, 2018

It is a tragic day for “Little House on the Prairie” fans.

Katherine “Scottie” MacGregor, the actress who played the iconic Harriet Oleson on “Little House on the Prairie,” has died. She was 93.

While Scottie played a character that wasn’t necessarily beloved, she was adored entirely in real life. She landed her Little House role in 1974 and immediately became a necessary character on the show.

In her final years, Scottie lived in Motion Picture Fund Long-Term Nursing Care facility in Woodland Hills, California.

After news of her passing was made public, several Hollywood peers and her former castmates took to social media to share their grief.

As of now, no funeral arrangements have been made. Please keep her friends and family in your prayers.
