If the world has been talking about one thing the past couple of years, it’s been anything and everything Meghan Markle.
From the moment news broke that she was Prince Harry’s love interest, she instantly became an international sensation. The two have certainly come a long way since then, and are now happily expecting their first child together in the spring.
One of life’s most thrilling moments is when news of an impending birth is spread. The Duke and Duchess have received so much love from adoring fans near and far in the months leading up to the birth of their child.
While it is royal protocol to keep a tight lip on matters of their personal life, there is an occasional spillage of facts in the media. It’s times like this that are likely stressful for the family, but fans eat it up because it gives them one more thing to love about the infamous couple.
Recently, a snippet of news broke about the education of Baby Sussex once he or she is old enough to attend. Typically, the members of the royal family stick to the same rules and procedures for educating their children.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, however, are planning on shaking things up a bit, and fans honestly aren’t a bit shocked. The duo has been known for straying from the “norm,” and this case proves to be no different.
According to E! News, the royal couple is currently planning on making sure their child will attend an American school. While this may or may not pan out according to their plan, all depending on what they’re allowed to get away with.
Nonetheless, their main goal is to ensure that their child attends a school that teaches an American curriculum. According to sources, “The Royals are thought to want a more diverse education for their child. Meghan is also keen for her child to be fully aware of his or her American heritage.”
This comes as no small shock to many since the Duchess has made a conscious effort to maintain her American roots despite being immersed in British culture.
No matter what they decide for their child, it will be loved, adored, and respected just as his or her fellow royal cousins. We can’t wait for Baby Sussex to be born!
