It’s official- Meghan Markle is wearing a Ralph & Russo dress on her wedding day.
Since the royal engagement, the curiosity surrounding Meghan’s wedding dress has only skyrocketed. Now, just hours before they bride-to-be says “I do,” it’s been leaked that Meghan’s designers have created the most perfect gown just for the world’s most anticipated wedding.
In January 2018, a source spilled the beans when they said Meghan would be going with a London-based designer. Immediately, fans speculated Caroline Castigliano would be designing the dress since she designed the famous dress worn by Kate Middleton on her wedding to Prince William.
Later on in May, The Daily Mail reported that the London-based designer would be done other than Ralph & Russo. Meghan opted for a Ralph & Russo design for her engagement photos to Prince Harry in December 2017. Many believe that Meghan fell in love with the designer since wearing her engagement dress.
Ralph & Russo is founded by Australian designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo. The pair have set their design studio in London where they’ve designed gowns for several A-listers as well as other royals.
The dress for Meghan is believed to be long-sleeved with heavily beading, all hand-stitched, and form fitting on the top with a massive lower half. It’s believed to be accessorized by a long silk veil and one of Princess Diana’s tiaras.
We are so thrilled to see the bride in her wedding dress! Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will wed on May 19th in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
