The undeniably classy FLOTUS has done it yet again and people across the country just can’t seem to get enough!
On April 24, First Lady Melania accompanied President Trump as he made a speech outside the White House. During his speech, he discussed their involvement in the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit.
Having his bride beside him instantly put to bed recent rumors that had been swirling concerning their marriage. It had been told that the FLOTUS and POTUS had been caught in a rather heated argument at Mar-a-Lago and, just as the media typically would, they unnecessarily ran wild with it.
While talking, he made sure to highlight his wife’s work in the project: “She works so hard and those moving words she said about me...Even if it is from your wife, so maybe she’s a little bit prejudiced that way, but I will say that she is a hard worker and she has a profound commitment to building a drug-free future for America’s children. We’re going to do it, too.”
It wasn’t only her presence nor President Trump’s nod to her that stunned critics - it was her jaw-dropping ensemble. Looking elegant and chic as ever before, she sported a $2,300 black and white polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich.
Her flowing dress was accented with deep plum pumps and a matching belt. Atop the dress, she wore a cream jacket that she draped around her shoulders in the breezy spring air. When it comes to fashion, she seems to blaze a trail and inspire women far and wide with her tactful class.
While the POTUS and FLOTUS were at the Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit, Melania made some incredibly powerful and promising words showcasing her focus on the mission at hand: “In my role as First Lady, much of my focus has been addressing the terrible toll the opioid epidemic is having on our children and young mothers.”
She continued, “We will continue to raise awareness of the dangers of opioids to unborn babies. We are also committed to supporting more treatment facilities that help both mothers and babies recover and replace the bond of addiction with the bond of love between a mother and a child.”
What do you think of the First Lady’s latest look? Yay or nay?
