17-year-old Devin “Skye” Hester was reported missing on March 10 in Tennessee, and police seem to have finally caught a break in her case. It seems that she is feared to be accompanied by multiple armed assailants who are believed to be behind the shooting of a motel clerk in Athens, Tennessee during a botched robbery.

The attempted robbery occurred around 6:15 am at the Athens Lodge, which lies just off of Interstate 75. The clerk was outside taking a smoke break when he was approached by two men and a girl, who then attempted to rob him. When the clerk attempted to fight back, he was shot in the leg.
