It’s finally happening…

Over the last two years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become a global conversation; from their adorable quirks to the ways they’ve chosen privacy over the spotlight, their every move has been made a headline in mainstream media. And after announcing that they were expecting their first child in Spring 2019, fans began to observe the fans even more closely.

On May 6th, 2019, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Archie. Having moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor just weeks before their due date, they’ve managed a great sense of privacy during their first weeks as parents. Nonetheless, media outlets began to circulate a rumor that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be on their way out of the country very soon.

When the possibility of them fleeing the UK just weeks after Archie was born, fans went into a frenzy; Where would they go? Back to America? Back to Canada? Would they separate?

Now, after days of plastering different speculations on headlines, it’s been confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be leaving the UK in the coming weeks.

So, “Where are they going?” Do you ask? Off to Africa!

According to ITV, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make an extended trip to Africa. They will be visiting the countries of Angola, Malawi, and South Africa. While away, they will “continue to carry out the legacy of Princess Diana’s humanitarian work on the continent that she loved and often spent time in.”

They’ll also be operating Prince Harry’s Sentebale charity, which he co-founded in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, to support young people affected by HIV and AIDS in Lesotho, Botswana, and Malawi.

Ok! You can let out a sigh of relief! There’s no turmoil, they’re staying together, and they’re doing it all in the name love and humanity. And while there is no source confirming that Baby Archie will be joining them, we can’t imagine a first time nursing mum leaves her son behind for an extended out of the country trip. And that means loads of family pictures of them during their stay- yay!
