Royal Fans -And Critics- Are Over The Moon At Meghan Markle’s Most Recent Outing As She Debut Her New Hairstyle

January 31, 2019

Meghan Markle is making some royal watchers very happy with her new hairstyle.

The Duchess of Sussex arrived at one of her four new patronages, the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Meghan stepped out of her SUV in an all black coat, sweater, and skirt. And while she’s been known to love a good black ensemble, she shocked fans by debuting a new hairstyle!

Meghan looked chic and stylish in a tight topknot. Rather than wearing her hair in a loose bun with tendrils surrounding her face, she opted for a sleek and clean bun.

Looking like true Royalty, Meghan was greeted by a large fanbase outside of the Association of Commonwealth Universities along with some key staffers. While visiting City University in London, she also met with students from the Association of Commonwealth Universities network.

This was one of four of Meghan’s newest patronages from which were announced in early 2019. Her parting title of ACU was inherited by Queen Elizabeth II.

Meghan’s coat was a repeat, which also made royal watchers happy as she recycled an outfit- something her sister-in-law, Kate, does often. Meghan previously wore her Givenchy coat last year on Remembrance Sunday.

The Duchess has been under criticism for her loose bun and curled tendrils in the past, as several royal watchers claimed she was being “too casual.” Her topknot style has received major attention and I think it looks beautiful on her! Don’t you?
