If you are a dog owner, chances are you have made a few trips to the veterinarian. Vet visits are unavoidable, and we try to make them as comfortable as possible for our canine friends. Sometimes our dogs can get a little too cozy after a vet visit, however, which is the case with a dog named Zeus when his mom comes to pick him up after his surgery.

Zeus is at the vet to have a growth removed from his eye. This procedure requires the use of general anesthesia to relax the dog and help him sleep through the surgery. Once the operation is over, the vet puts "the cone of shame" on Zeus to prevent him from scratching at his eye. Zeus' mom shows up to take him home and, once the pup is put into the car, he wakes up in a hysterical daze and makes his confusion quite clear.

Zeus pops his head up from the back seat and is highly perturbed at the fact that there’s a cone around his neck that was not there before. The dog has a smile on his face, however, and attempts to give a howl or two. The sounds come out in different tones and, at one point, no noise comes out at all, despite Zeus’ best efforts to voice his confusion. Mom can't help but laugh as Zeus struggles to comprehend his predicament. Don't worry, though. The pup, eventually, comes to his senses and makes a full recovery. Watch the video, below, to see Zeus' confused wake-up call for yourself.
