Two toddlers have been kidnapped by their father in Markham, Illinois. The two children are a 2-year-old girl, Jordyn Washington, and her 3-year-old brother, Lynn Roby. They were last seen around 2 pm on Wednesday, March 14, in a 2004/2005 Chevrolet Impala or Malibu.
The children’s mother, 27-year-old Lakisha Roby was shot in a domestic-related shooting outside of a gas station at 1:35 am on Wednesday. The children’s father, Lynn Washington, had been prohibited from contacting the children as the result of an order of protection dated November 30. Lynn Washington picked up the children from a family friend around 2 pm on Wednesday.
By the time police realized the kids were missing, they knew they were in a race against time to save the children’s lives. The father is considered armed and dangerous because of information discovered during their investigation as well as his past.
Lynn Washington is described as standing 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, as well as tattoos on his neck, left arm, right arm, and chest. Anyone with information about the disappearances or who believes they have spotted the children are urged to 911 immediately.
