Laredo International Airport in Texas was home to a horrifying plane crash on March 8, 2018. A privately owned twin-engine Piper-31 went down at the airport shortly after it took flight. Unfortunately, three people lost their lives in the unfortunate accident that was likely the cause of a mechanical failure.

The plane had just taken off from Laredo International when the pilot noticed black smoke coming from one of the engines. He made an immediate turnaround and attempted to land the plane safely. The plane’s engine did not allow that to happen, and the plane burst into flames when it crashed down.

The identities of the victims have not yet been released, but the plane was privately owned by Robert R. Marshall from the town of Bruni. Robert is the CEO and President of Marshall Aviation, a passenger, and freight charter service. Please keep the victims and their families in your prayers as they go through this trying time.
