Myles Was Terrified And Alone, Covered In 4.5 Pounds Of Matted Fur. Things Were Looking Dark For This Sweetheart, Until Rescuers Stepped In To Save Him

February 26, 2018

When Myles found himself living alone on the street, he knew he was in trouble. The little Shih Tzu mix was in desperate need of someone who could help him out. He wandered all by himself, hoping that soon someone would take pity on him.

It wasn’t until he stumbled into the yard of a good samaritan that he was able to find the love and care he was in such need of. When the homeowners spotted the frightened pup, they immediately called for help, knowing he was going to need quite a helping hand. When rescuers brought him to a grooming salon to get the mats removed, the groomers were horrified at the shape he was in.

When the groomers set to work, Myles was terrified and in so much pain from all of the mats that they were left with no choice but to muzzle him to keep everyone safe. By the time they had finished, Myles was a happy and loving pup who was so relieved to be free of the painful and heavy coat he’d been living with for months.
