New Cousin For George And Charlotte Is On The Way . . . And Might Be Arriving Sooner Than We Think

July 19, 2018

The world loves watching the Duchess of Cambridge’s three adorable children as they grow up, and we marvel at the doting parents William and Kate obviously are to their brood, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and little Prince Louis. And we can hardly wait for the family to expand as cousins are added to the mix.

Now that a new little cousin for the Cambridge trio IS on the way, we look forward to watching their sure-to-be shenanigans as they grow up together. And while we wait patiently for newlyweds, Harry and Meghan, to announce their first pregnancy, thank goodness we have another little baby already on the way. And he/she will be here before you know it!

The Duchess of Cambridge is looking forward to becoming an aunt when little sister Pippa gives birth to her first child - and from the looks of things, that baby will be here a bit sooner than we first thought.

The mother-to-be and her husband, James Matthews, have not officially revealed the gender or due date for their baby, but the way Pippa has blossomed in recent weeks give every indication that her baby will be born sooner rather than later.

When the couple announced the pregnancy in June, the only clue as to how far along appeared in an article Pippa wrote for Waitrose Kitchen Magazine.

In the article, Pippa revealed that she did not suffer from hyperemesis gravidarum (extreme morning sickness) as big sister Kate did with all three of her pregnancies. But she did drop a hint about when her babe would arrive.

"I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal." that bit of info plus the fact that first-time pregnancies don't tend to show themselves until later, then Pippa could very well be close to the end of her second trimester.

The parents-to-be “attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Chichester over the weekend”

Doing the math, that would put the bundle of joy's arrival around October. Initial reports said closer to the end of the year. If it turns out to be true, then the new baby and Prince Louis will be only six months apart in age! What fun that will bring over the years!

And now the two sisters must be over-the-moon about Pippa's pregnancy, and the opportunity to share something new.

"They confide in each other about everything," a source previously told Life & Style. "When they were younger they'd always share stories about boys and school life. Now they’re sharing pregnancy stories."

We wish Pippa and James all the best as they embark on this fantastic journey, and look forward to the day when we can see the sisters' babies side-by-side. We have no doubt that they all will be BFFs from day one!
