One of the silver screen’s most loved actresses just made a pretty hefty decision and now fans have more questions than ever before.
Olivia Newton-John is most known for her brilliant roles in Grease and Xanadu. Over the years, her charm, charisma, and glowing smile have captivated audiences young and old.
Unfortunately, she’s faced more bumps along the road than she ever anticipated. The world was heartbroken upon discovering that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. Thankfully, after completing her treatement she went into remission and seemed to be on the mend.
In 2013, she was hit with a crushing blow when doctors told her that her breast cancer had returned once more and it again came back in 2017. Her outlook the last go around was better than anyone could have dreamt.
“I’m one of millions in this fight - I shouldn’t say fight - in this journey. A lot of people see it as a fight, and wherever you choose to see it, that’s your prerogative. I see it as part of my mission,” she told.
Now, following this, she’s made yet another announcement that has quickly spread across the internet like wildfire. In the 1980s, Newton-John purchased a sweeping 187-acre property in New South Wales. It was her pride and joy and loved the place where she could “recharge in peace.”
Now, she’s decided to move on and has officially put the property and estate up for sale. “The expansive view from the farm is breathtaking and captured my heart all those years ago,” Newton-John once told.
Sources describe the area as follows: “The property itself is located less than an hour’s drive from Byron Bay, includes a ‘French-inspired country residence’ with exposed wood beams and stone archways. The four-bedroom, three-bathroom property has a ‘self-contained four-room guest quarters’ for visitors.”
While living there, it’s said that Newton-John had over 10,000 trees planted across the acreage because she deeply loved being surrounded by nature. “Bordering on an ancient rainforest brings glorious morning birdsongs. It’s a magical spot that is the home for many different species of wildlife,” she told.
