Prosecutors Share Fiancé’s 3-Month Long Murder Plan For Missing CO Mom, Kelsey Berreth, And The Details Are Haunting

January 02, 2019

On November 22nd, 2018, a 29-year-old Colorado mom went missing. Her name was Kelsey Berreth and she was last seen in a grocery store with her infant daughter. On December 2nd, 2018, Kelsey’s mother reported her missing.

Kelsey’s disappearance baffled who knew her, all but one person: her fiancé, Patrick Frazee.

After more than five weeks and bizarre evidence including a cell phone tower ping in Gooding, Idaho (Kelsey lived in Woodland Park, CO, more than 600 miles away from her where the phone was pinged), prosecutors arrested Patrick Frazee and charged him with five counts of murder (two counts of murder and three counts of solicitation to commit murder). On December 21st, 2019, Patrick was arrested.

On December 31st, 2018, prosecutors reported that they “filed the two murder counts against Frazee based on two theories about how the alleged killing may have occurred: either Frazee carried out the crime on his own, or he and someone else allegedly tried to rob Berreth before she was killed.” If she was in fact robbed, authorities believe that Frazee was responsible for organizing the crime.

During the December 31st prosecution, police theorized a sickening murder plot created by Patrick. Authorities believe Patrick was plotting to kill his fiancé months prior to the last day she was seen. According to new evidence, Patrick is believed to have solicited an individual three times or three people on three separate occasions as part of an alleged murder plot.

PEOPLE obtained documents stating that the “alleged solicitations occurred between Sept. 1 and Nov. 1, 2018, according to the charging documents.”

According to the documents, it is theorized that Patrick either killed Kelsey by himself or he and another individual attempted to rob her before she was killed.

Patrick is set to appear back in court on January 3rd and 4th concerning the custody of his and Kelsey’s daughter and to discuss his criminal case. On January 29th, 2019, if he is convicted, he will face life imprisonment and potentially a death sentence.

Kelsey Berreth has yet to be discovered but is believed to be dead. Please pray that authorities find her and that she is alive and please keep her daughter and family in your prayers.
