Pee Wee Aloysius is a beautiful little tan and black pug who lives with his adoring family. His family can’t imagine life without their much adored little one-eyed pup! This playful pup loves to run around and play with his canine siblings and friends, and he certainly knows how to live life to the fullest.
Pee Wee may be living the good life right now, but it’s certainly safe to say it wasn’t always that way! This young pup’s life started off like something out of a horror show, and it’s sad to hear just how cruel people can be. Luckily for him, he was rescued, unlike so many other dogs around the world.
Pee Wee was bred by a backyard breeder who didn’t take the time to research the new home he would be going to. His new family was very excited to welcome the goofy puppy into their family, and things were great for the first few weeks. Sadly, tragedy soon struck, and it left Pee Wee in quite a pickle.
Pee Wee’s left eye ruptured, and instead of getting him the expensive medical care he required, his owners made a horrible decision. In the dead of winter, they went for a car ride and abandoned him on the side of the road. Not only was Pee Wee in desperate need of medical care for his eye, this three-month-old pup was severely underweight, weighing in at a little over three pounds.
Luckily for him, he was soon rescued by Homeward Bound Pug Rescue. When photos of his condition went viral, it wasn’t long before they had raised more than enough money to take care of all of his medical needs. Today, he’s a completely healthy and happy pug who serves as a spokesdog for the rescue that stepped in to save him when he needed it the most.
Pee Wee’s forever family was ecstatic to hear that they had been approved to adopt him, and he fit in from the very start. He loves his two adoptive brothers, Frankie and Tatanka, who have been more than happy to teach this silly pup how to be a dog! Pee Wee now spends his time playing fetch and wrestling with his brothers. While the beginning of his life may have been rather rough, it’s safe to say the future is only bright.
