It never ceases to amaze me just how much dogs can learn and think for themselves. Whether they learn a new trick or they pick up a trait they learned from their owners, dogs seem to have an endless wealth of knowledge that they can obtain throughout their lives. Some dogs have learned to fend for themselves while their parents are out or simply because they feel they need more food than they were given. This seemed to be the case with the dog in this story when he decided to take his food needs into his own paws.
One day, some customers at a local grocery store noticed a peculiar sight. A small dog was wandering around the aisles, seemingly, by himself. The dog seemed to be on a mission so people gave him room to wander. The dog didn't seem to be lost because he was completely at ease, wandering the aisles, smiling at everyone he saw. Finally, the pup found what he had come for and people couldn't hold back their smiles when the pup pulled his favorite dog food off the shelf.
Without slowing down whatsoever, the pup promptly strutted out the front door of the grocery store with his bag. There was no shame in his game as the dog turned the corner and walked down the street towards his home. We assume that the confident pup had an open tab of dog food with the store because no one made any attempt to stop the dog from leaving. Needless to say, the pup could fend for himself if the situation called for it. Watch the video below to see the adorable pup strut his stuff at the grocery store.
