Poor Meghan Markle just can’t seem to catch a break these days.
The Duchess of Sussex is in the very end days of her pregnancy and, up until a week or two ago, was still as busy as she’s ever been. From the moment she officially became a royal, she’s made a conscious effort to fully immerse herself in her new life, culture, and job.
Sadly enough, some people think that it’s all one large facade. Those very people make it their mission to announce every thought, idea, and feeling they have toward her on social media. Oh the joys of the day and age we live in, right?
One of the most recent critics of the Duchess is none other than the overly opinionated and highly controversial broadcaster, Piers Morgan. He’s never been one to bottle up his feelings so when he had culminated enough toward Meghan, he spewed them across the internet.
A journalist named Deborah Wright posed a question to him about a comment he’s made in the past, asking if he still felt like Meghan “is really fake and a piece of work.” He quickly retorted, “You know what? I’m sorry to have to say I’m afraid I think she is.”
This merely opened up a can of worms. “Although some people really like her and are falling for this act, I’m afraid I see a bit of hard-nosed actress. She’s been using people on her way up to what is now, of course, the top, which is marrying into the royal family,” he said.
“Everything I’ve seen since [meeting her] does slightly smack of an actress, a Hollywood actress, seizing her chance and acting her way to the top,” he added.
“Good luck to Harry,” he said scoffingly. “I hope he knows what he’s doing. If it all goes wrong, don’t come crying to me. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
What do you think about this? Do you think this is just jealous anger rearing its head in the rawest form or do you agree with his unbridled feelings about the Duchess of Sussex?
