Whitewater kayaking is an extreme water sport that allows us the opportunity to enjoy the rushing rapids while also having the ability to soak up the beautiful rays of sunshine. Not only is this great outdoor activity adventurous and thrilling but it's one that depends solely upon your skill and ability. That is, of course, until you're faced with unforeseen danger, just like the man in this video. Get ready to experience just how intense this sport can be and why it's always smarter and safer to go with a group.
In this scene, a group of kayakers is enjoying a beautiful day on the river when, all of a sudden, one of the men flips his raft. The rest of the kayakers are floating down a high-class rapid a few feet away, unaware that this fairly-common situation is about to become deadly. As everyone else waits patiently at the bottom of the rapid, things take a turn for the worse when the churning water wedges the man between a rock and his kayak. The kayaker is completely stuck, drowning, and in desperate need of help.
It’s lucky that the kayakers waiting at the bottom are ready, willing, and able to jump into action. Paddling upstream, two men dismount from their kayaks and leap into the roaring rapids where one individual miraculously pulls the man from the dangerous, life-threatening situation. It's an incredibly heroic rescue that you will want to see for yourself!
