It seems that just about everyone in the world is thrilled about the arrival of Britain’s newest royal, but you know what they say: Don’t believe everything you see on the internet…
When Prince Harry introduced his now wife, Meghan, to his family, he was really hoping that Kate would take the reins on showing her “how to become royal.” After all, the two duchesses have quite a bit in common; aside from marrying into the most popular family in the world and leaving the common world behind, they are the same age and they happen to share an appreciation for the same things in life.
Harry admitted in his engagement interview that he was quite thrilled with the way his family took in Meghan, and Meghan was beyond grateful to have been given such genuine attention as well. But it seems like there’s one person that had a difficult time being excited for Meghan’s new place in the family.
Pippa Middleton is Kate’s younger sister. The sister pair has been famously inseparable for their entire lives and they planned on being best friends forever. Life and Style Magazine reports that when Meghan came into the picture, things quickly changed for the sisters.
Sources claim "They used to do everything together and speak daily...But now that Meghan lives practically under the same roof as Kate at Kensington Palace, the dynamics have changed and Pippa feels shoved out."
When Pippa admitted that her feelings were hurt by Kate’s withdraw, Kate’s response was totally innocent, “Kate fought back and told Pippa that it's her duty to make Meghan feel welcomed.”
Pippa still fancied Meghan and was genuinely happy for Prince Harry, although she couldn’t help but feel a little left out. Since the source had revealed the tension between the sisters, Pippa has announced her first pregnancy and we’re hoping that the Middleton Sisters will have another part of life to share with each other.
Pippa and her husband were at the Royal Wedding where we’re sure they were genuinely excited for the couple. Sometimes, seasons require attention elsewhere, and Kate made it her mission to make Meghan feel comfortable in the Royal Family. Can you blame her?
