It’s been a busy and exciting week for the Royal Family of Britain. First, Princess Eugenie, younger daughter of Prince Andrew married her longtime love, Jack Brooksbank in a romantic ceremony on October 12th in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Then, Just two days later, Prince Harry and wife Meghan announced they are expecting their first child, as they jetted off to their 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tonga.
And if that weren’t enough good news, we get another delightful surprise.
Pippa Middleton, younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, was spotted entering the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday morning. Witnesses said she had her overnight bag with her. In the absence of official news, speculation ran wild that she was in labor with the baby that was said to be due this month.
Then, this morning we receive the happy news that Pippa and her husband James Mathews have, indeed, welcomed their first child at 1:58 pm Monday, a boy who weighed in at eight pounds, nine ounces. Mother and son are doing well, according to reports.
The baby boy, whose name has not been released, is just six months younger than his cousin, Prince Louis and insiders report that Pippa and Kate are eager for the two to become the best of chums. And we have no doubt that this will become a reality.
“Pippa and James, 41, married May 20, 2017, at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield. She confirmed her pregnancy in a June column for the U.K. supermarket monthly magazine Waitrose Kitchen saying that she did not suffer from severe morning sickness like her sister, Kate.”
Please join us in congratulating the new parents and in wishing them the best of everything in the days to come.
