A single-engine plane crashed to the ground in Kansas on early Tuesday afternoon. The plane crash occurred in McPherson County, half a mile from the town of Roxbury around 2 pm according to a Kansas Highway Patrol dispatcher.

The pilot was the only person on board the plane at the time, and he was taken to an area hospital with only minor injuries. The identity of the pilot has not been released, but the plane has been registered to Randal Shannon of Drexel, Montana.

Randal Shannon crashed another plane last year in the same area of Kansas as this accident. He was reported missing after last year’s crash as he walked away from the accident to a nearby bank in Roxbury where he had a meeting.

The cause of this crash has not yet been released, as police are still investigating. Thankfully, it seems that the pilot is no worse for the wear from this crash as well. We can only hope that whatever is causing this pilot to crash is resolved carefully and quickly.
