Prince Charles is coming clean about the fear he’s feeling for his soon-to-be grandchild, Baby Sussex.
When Kensington Palace broke the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were officially expecting their first child, their international fanbase was thrilled with the news!
Since the announcement, Meghan has been very proud to show off her growing baby bump and has taken numerous opportunities to share her pregnancy with her fans. It seems that nearly everyone is nothing but excited for the couple. Well, almost everyone…
Finally, on November 5th, fans finally learned how those closest to Harry and Meghan felt about their upcoming bundle of joy. Prince Charles, Harry’s father, was touring Ghana when he first publicly acknowledged his son and daughter-in-law’s news. While fans were thrilled to hear Prince Charles talk about how soon-to-be grandchild, they didn’t expect him to reveal what he had said…
While meeting with several government officials regarding pollution and the current state of our world, Prince Charles made his first mention of Harry and Meghan’s child. He said, “I am about to have another grandchild actually. I suspect quite a few of you may too have grandchildren or will do soon.”
He then added, “It does seem to me insanity if we are going to bequeath this completely polluted, damaged and destroyed world to them! All grandchildren deserve a better future.”
Prince Charles has been a conversationalist for several years and now that his family is growing, his concerns for a cleaner and safer world are even more important to him. Prince Charles’ longtime commitment to a cleaner and better world has made an effect on millions and several are agreeing with him that keeping the world a priority is something that all need to partake in.
This is likely something that many parents and grandparents think about, especially given the political climate in today’s world. We hope that future generations are with the resources they need and that the world will be better for them.
