Prince George's Big Dreams Do Not Involve Being King And Duke William Has A Lot To Say About It

March 14, 2018

Little Prince George of Wales may only be four-years-old, but he’s already dreaming big. As the future king of England, his future is already mapped out for him, but Prince George doesn’t seem to be too interested in being King.

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry attended The Met Excellence Awards at Kensington Palace on Tuesday, March 14th. They chatted with several of the honorees that night and thanked them for their services.

Police Officer of the Year, PC Philip Stone, was in attendance and struck up a conversation with the Duke and Prince Harry. PC Philip Stone was accompanying Cadet of the Year, Nabil Laasid, 17, and supervising officer, Jayne Richardson. Together, the group chatted about their experiences as police officers over the last year.

During their friendly conversations, the commanding officer joked with the Duke that they were recruiting. She jokingly said, “We are recruiting, actually so if George and Charlotte are keen?” The group laughed together.

That’s when William responded with “George is obsessed, actually, by the police….cars, toys, everything,” he said. He loves all things police-related and talks about becoming one all the time. It’s his dream job! You might remember that over Christmas, little George asked for police car from Santa! It was the only thing he wanted.

This made the group chuckle! The young prince has his future clearly laid out for him, but if it was up to him, this four-year-old prince would be apart of the police force in a heartbeat!

Sounds like his little heart is planning for a big future. Perhaps it will be a career choice prior to his reign as King!
