As the whole world eagerly for the impending birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's third child, it is abundantly clear that we commoners LOVE anything to do with babies and the Crown.
With such adorable offspring as Prince George and Princess Charlotte, we can hardly contain our excitement to meet the next Royal Prince or Princess, who is due to make a regal appearance within the next few weeks.
But come May 19th, we will have another Royal couple to put on "baby watch." As Prince Harry and Meghan Markle begin their life together, we can't help but wonder how long it will be before they make the announcement that another little Royal baby is on the way.
Prince Harry's recent comments may have given a massive clue as to just when that might be.
According to a recent article in Elle Magazine, friends, of the couple are saying that they wouldn't be surprised if the first baby comes along very soon after the wedding.
Harry and Meghan are "very eager" to start a family of their own and having seen how marvelous George and Charlotte are, have been a very strong motivation for them to set about having their own little Princes and Princesses.
Harry is known to be a natural with children and Meghan is very fond of kids. Both of them are well into their 30s so it would seem unlikely that they would put off starting their family for too long, especially if they want to have "lots, and lots of kids."
ET Royal correspondent, Kate Nicholl, reports that Markle herself is "very doting with children. She is very maternal and she was thrilled to meet George and Charlotte.
"I think one of the lovely things, anecdotes that I discovered [while writing] the book was, it was actually a moment involving children, when Meghan really fell for Prince Harry."
On a recent trip to Cardiff, Meghan and Harry looked like kids themselves when interacting with the schoolchildren.
With such strong parenting instincts, it appears that Harry and Meghan will be loving, involved, and outstanding parents. And we can hardly wait to hear the good news of the first impending Royal baby - and the sooner, the better!
