On May 19, 2018, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be married at Windsor Castle. Their wedding will be the sixteenth Royal Wedding to happen there since 1836! We can’t wait for these two to be married, although we are definitely sad that this is the last royal wedding that will be majorly televised until Prince William’s children are getting married.
Both of Markle’s parents will be attending the wedding, and her father will even be walking her down the aisle. On Prince Harry’s behalf, Prince Charles will be attending. Unfortunately, this is one time that Prince Harry is sure to feel the loss of his beloved mother, Diana.
It seems like the happy couple is determined to make sure that Diana isn’t forgotten on the special day, as they have made sure that she will be included. Princess Diana’s siblings, Charles Spencer, Lady Sara McCorquodale and Jane Fellowes, will be attending in her place.
To better represent Princess Diana at their wedding, Lady Jane Fellowes will be giving the reading. This is certainly an honor and a perfect way to incorporate Diana’s family into her son’s wedding!
While it is very sad that Princess Diana cannot be there to attend her son’s wedding, we are so relieved that she will still be remembered on the special day. This is one wedding that is sure to go off without a hitch!
This is an encouraging story, and we thought we could follow it up with a video that is sure to get a smile out of anyone! We hope you enjoy the video below!
