On Monday, April 23rd, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child. At 11:01 a.m., the family of four became a family of five with the newest addition to a baby boy!
The Duke and Duchess proudly introduced their baby boy to the world only seven hours after he was delivered. The Duchess looked simply radiant in a red dress, and the newborn prince was wrapped up in a white crocheted blanket and white cap.
The crowds begged to know his name, but the Duke and Duchess opted out of sharing that during his first appearance. And now, days later, the world is dying to learn what the baby will be named.
Although, Prince William may have just dropped a serious clue about the little one’s name!
On Wednesday, Prince William arrived solo at the Anzac Day of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. The Royal Family Twitter account shares that “Anzac Day seeks to honor the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.” Prince William greeted his brother, Prince Harry, and his bride-to-be, Meghan Markle. The siblings look fabulous in the finest ensembles.
During the outing, the crowds cheered for the Royal siblings and shouted congratulatory phrases to William about his newest arrival. One excited well-wisher suggested to William that he name the baby “Alexander.”
That’s when Prince William responded with something surprising! He simply smiled to Prince Harry and said, “Funny you should say that…” before getting interrupted by another well-wisher.
Why did Prince William think was funny that someone suggested the name Alexander? Could the Duke and Duchess be considering the name Alexander for their newest little one?
Kate is expected to share the name of her son in the next coming days, however, if she’s taking a lesson from The Queen, she might wait a little longer! Her Majesty actually waited one month before announcing the name of Prince Charles! Hopefully, that’s not the case for Baby Cambridge!
