Prince William Is Adamant About This Rule For Prince George And Princess Charlotte And The Internet Has So Much To Say About It

March 23, 2018

Raising children is no easy feat. Once a baby comes into your life, your world is turned upside down. The time you once spent doing things for yourself now is solely focused on the tiny human in your home. Though child-rearing isn’t always easy, every single step of the way makes the tough journey worth it.

When you’re a child in the Royal family, life might be a little different for you. Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge have made it their mission to ensure their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, grow up as joyful, thriving individuals. William and Kate want nothing more than to see their two get to experience childhood to the fullest, and their method might sometimes seem unorthodox to a few people.

When the weather is warm and sunny, they highly encourage outdoor playtime for George and Charlotte. When the weather is blustery cold, they do the same. Their kids are encouraged to play, no matter the season. Some might disagree with allowing children to endure harshly cold temperatures, but William has a very good reason as to why they allow it in their family.

While at an official reception to celebrate the ties of Britain and Sweden, Prince William made a comment that has stuck with many:

“One lesson that we will take home with us is that children are actively encouraged to spend time outdoors, whatever the weather. This is obviously very good for their physical health, but as we learned this morning at the remarkable Karolinska Institute, it has huge benefits for a child’s mental health as well.”

The health and happiness of their offspring are at the forefront of their parenting, and it’s obvious in the way they love and encourage their two children. I can only imagine how much more fun outdoor playtime will be once the third child makes his/her grand appearance! Do you agree with this parenting idea?
