Prince William Let Another Huge Hint Slip In Regards To His Newborn’s Name, And Now It’s All Anyone Can Talk About

April 25, 2018

The world is utterly abuzz with the news of the newest royal family member’s birth. After ten hours of labor, Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed an 8 lb. 7 oz. beautiful little prince in the world.

There had been a great deal of speculation as to the gender, due date, and name for quite some time. As of now, two of the three have officially been confirmed as we all wait patiently for the announcement of his name.

This newborn is now fifth in line to the British royal throne - first is his paternal grandfather, Prince Charles, followed by father, Prince William, then brother, Prince George, and sister, Princess Charlotte.

In the moments the proud mother and father stood on the steps of the Lindo Wing to show off their youngest child, it was apparent how much the crowd adored the trio. The moment was so highly anticipated that many felt a special connection with the couple and welcomed the child as if they knew him personally.

The day following his birth, Prince William never missed a beat with his work schedule. He made an appearance at a royal engagement to update the press about his little one. While discussing the topic, he let a vital piece of information slip, and the media has gone wild over it.

“Sleeping is going reasonably well so far, so he’s behaving himself which is good,” he said proudly. Alexander Downer, the Australian high commissioner, commented saying that his first name would be a good choice for the Prince’s son. William responded, “Funny you should say that - it’s a good name. Prince Alexander does have a nice ring to it.”

This comment, alone, made many people believe that this was the name choice, if not a solid contender. While we still are patiently waiting for the official name reveal, we do have a pretty good idea of some strong choices. Many bookies are saying that alongside Alexander are Arthur, James, and Albert.

Only time will tell just what the final choice will be. Which name is your favorite?
