Baby Sussex will here any day now, but it’s not all cheerful news for the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child in April of 2019. This will be the first child for both Harry and Meghan and the world is already totally obsessed with little Baby Sussex.
Royal watchers have been looking forward to this day for several years, especially because Prince Harry is one of the Royal darlings. He and his brother, Prince William, have been fan favorites since their births as they are sons of the beloved late princess, Diana.
Prince William and has gone before his brother- both in marriage and children. His three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have all made international news on the day of their births and surely Baby Sussex will receive the same attention. However, something Baby Sussex may not receive is a full welcome party.
In the last days of March 2019, Kensington Palace made an official statement announcing that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (i.e. William and Kate) will be making a visit to the grieving city of Christchurch, New Zealand.
Christchurch recently suffered a tragic terrorist attack and William and Kate’s presence has been requested by the country’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern. Harry and Meghan visited just days after the initial attack and paid their respects, but Will and Kate have yet to visit.
Now, there’s a very strong possibility that William and Kate will miss the arrival of Baby Sussex. And while it would be great if the full family could be together during that happy time, it seems more than appropriate for William and Kate to pay their respects to the grieving country of New Zealand.
We hope for a loving visit for them to Christchurch and an exciting return back to a new member of their family upon their return to London. We can’t wait to meet Baby Sussex and our prayers are with members of the Christchurch community and those who have suffered such a great loss.
