Princes William And Harry Were Supposed To Appear In 'The Last Jedi' So What Happened To Their Scenes?

February 12, 2018

When Princes William and Harry visited the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" set in April of 2016 rumors were swirling that the two did more than take a tour and meet the stars.

Reportedly, they were invited to don the iconic Stormtroopers costumes and join in a scene for the actual filming of the movie! Fans to the core, the pair of princes jumped at the chance.

Now we are wondering why we did not see them in the final cut of the film. Well, as it so happens time and time again for those in the acting profession, their scenes were left on the cutting room floor.

Yes, for one reason or another, the famous royals did not appear in the final production.

Explanations range from the fact that the brothers were too tall to be Stormtroopers (they must all be exactly 5'11);

(William and Harry are 6'2" and 6'1", respectively) to simply, according to a source, "The scene just didn't work for the final cut so it was left out."

Either way, we're happy to see that even Princes are fans of the Star Wars series. We hope that, even though they did not become worldwide movie stars from this film, they don't give up on their dream of becoming Hollywood leading men!!

We look forward to their next big break!
