When you’re born into the royal family, there are automatic rules by which you must abide. You begin learning your role at a very young age, and by the time you’re a bit older, it simply comes naturally.
Prince William and Prince Harry proved this theory to be quite true. Being heirs to the throne opens up a whole different way of living, and they’re taught everything they need to know about fulfilling their duties.
Now that Prince William has children of his own, he’s proven that he’s falling right in step with the protocols of rearing his little ones in such a manner. His two older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, have already mastered the “royal wave.”
Both also continue to flash ginormous smiles at the crowds at every outing. Now, we simply can’t seem to get enough of these cuties these days!
One firm rule that many must follow is one that Princess Charlotte can’t seem to grasp quite yet. Because of this, she’s denied a royal privilege that many enjoy, and until she can master it, she’s strictly forbidden from joining in.
The privilege she can’t partake in is sitting with the rest of her family at the dinner table. For now, she’s confined to the kids' table, and it’s not because she’s only three years old.
The real reason behind this is because she’s still learning “the art of polite conversation.” Until she gets this down pat, she’ll be kicking it with the kiddos a bit longer.
As polite as she seems to appear in public, I feel it’s only a matter of time until she gets the official dinnertime upgrade.
I bet with the close help of her incredibly proper mother, Kate, and her older brother, George, she'll have this figured out in no time at all.
